Family Love.

I'm not really into Valentine's or hearts, but I just LOVED this LO by Wilna Furstenberg as soon as she posted it in the Two Peas in a Bucket scrapbooking gallery as a Garden Girl.

The other great inspiration came from another Garden Girl, Shimelle Laine, and especially from her last workshop called The Hitchhiker's Guide to Scrapbooking and her weekly series Adventures of Glitter Girl, both for Two Peas in a Bucket. I also love her blog and sign up for almost all her classes :)

Thanks Wilna for the LO inspiration.
Thanks Shimelle for making me not be afraid of either cutting my pretty paper or layer bits and pieces.

Can you believe that piece of white lace in the middle is from my 1st Comunion dress?

I hope you like my page. All my heart is in there. Family Love.

Make every day a scrapbooking adventure, by Shimelle Laine.

A few weeks ago, I watched a bunch of videos from Shimelle Laine's YouTube channel :)
They're so inspiring, and she's just great :)

I'm sure I've watched almost all her videos, but I really don't remember watching this one in particular. I found it really inspiring and motivating, so I just had to share it :)

You can visit her blog at www.shimelle.com and see her great projects and videos.

[P.S. If you want to share this video in your blog, go to the the page of the video at YouTube and share from there wherever you want: in your blog, FB wall, Twitter, etc]

Remake :)

I think I made this LO a couple of years ago, with a picture of my ex & I. I loved how it turned out, but it didn't have a place in my albums anymore.

I decided to remake it with a picture of my sister & family and just add a little something :)

I love it again!!

Successfully being you

Successfully being you

Remind yourself how strong you have been. Consider how strong you can be.

The challenges that face you are real, and not to be taken lightly.

Yet you have already worked your way through countless challenges,

and you have what it takes to keep moving forward.

Let yourself feel sincere,

all-encompassing gratitude for where you are and for what you have.

Make the commitment to make positive, purposeful use

of the goodness with which you are blessed.

There is much to be done and there is even more that you’re capable of doing.

In every moment is the opportunity to create new, fulfilling value.

Look forward, and envision the best possibilities.

Step confidently ahead, and feel how good and right it feels to make them come to life.

You are, right now,

the most experienced and effective you’ve ever been at successfully being you.

Use this day to raise your success to ever higher, more fulfilling levels.

Stop putting it off.

Stop putting it off.

If there’s something that must be done, go ahead and get it finished. Get busy, get it done, and feel the freedom of no longer having it hanging over your head.

Sure, it will take some focused, concentrated effort. Yes, it may be annoying and inconvenient. However, those are not reasons to avoid it. Those are great reasons to go ahead and get it behind you.

Instead of filling your day with worry and dread and resentment and guilt, fill it with effective, productive effort. Instead of making excuses and ending up getting nowhere, make some real progress and get the task behind you.

The energy you spend putting it off is one hundred percent wasted energy. The energy you spend getting it done is what will make a real, discernable, positive difference in your world.

So get yourself going and get it done. Now is the time and this is the place from which you can move confidently forward.
